Playgroup Tasmania is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of all children. Everyone has a role to play in keeping children safe from harm and creating child safe and child friendly communities.
Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.

Playgroup Tasmania represents the interests of our Members and Tasmanian families to decision-makers at local, state and federal levels. We take an evidence-based approach and value the voices and ideas of our Members and playgroup participants.
Playgroup Tasmania advocates for:
- broader access to playgroups
- funding and policy that supports the latest research, and
- programs that meet the needs of Tasmanian families.
