Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa/pakana people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.
Playgroups of all shapes and sizes are always looking for volunteer play helpers.
Which Volunteer Play Helper role suits you?
1. PlayBaby helpers
You’ll help set up the venue and create a welcoming environment for new parents and their babies.
2. PlayConnect helpers
Volunteers for these Autism-specific playgroups set up play activities and support the facilitator.
3. Community Playgroup helpers
You’ll assist with set up and pack down, welcome new families and give support during sessions so everything runs smoothly.

"We love Playconnect. I wish we could attend more than once a week. It’s been so great for children with needs and delays to just be accepted, and parents to be heard and understood. It’s the best.”
