Registration makes attending playgroup even easier, giving you access to more than 40 community playgroups statewide.

- Receive support from Playgroup Tasmania to lead a safe, welcoming and high-quality playgroup.
- Connect with a statewide network of playgroups.
- Enjoy free promotion on Playgroup Tasmania’s Find a Playgroup search page.

- Support to get your playgroup started
- Help to create a child safe and child friendly playgroup community
- Insurance coverage for playgroup sessions and attendees
- Support to find and hire a safe and suitable venue
- Promotional materials (such as outdoor flags and posters)
- Guidance on planning sessions and activities
- Support to create accessible, inclusive spaces for all families
- Information for families about relevant services and supports
- Information about funding opportunities (grants), support to write a grant and auspicing arrangements, if required
- Support to strengthen and improve playgroup quality, safety and inclusion through the Growing Together Quality Framework
- Access to shared forums with other playgroups and playgroup leaders
- Training opportunities and access to Playgroup Tasmania’s online toolkit
- Promotion on Playgroup Tasmania’s website and social media platforms
- Help to find additional volunteers where possible
- Assistance with playgroup related issues or concerns

- a commitment to child safety?
- robust child safeguarding policies and procedures?
