Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa/pakana people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.

Have you heard about the First 1000 Days of a child's life?

It's the time from pregnancy through to age four when children experience the most rapid period of development in their lives. Research has proven that what happens during this time provides the foundation for all future learning, behaviour and health.

B4 works to bring businesses, government and community together to give all Tasmanian children the best start in life.

Playgroups are key contributors to children's early years and Playgroup Tasmania CEO Jacinda Armstrong was recently appointed a B4 Leader by the Minister for Education and Training.
