Playgroup Tasmania is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of all children. Everyone has a role to play in keeping children safe from harm and creating child safe and child friendly communities.
Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.
Amy has worked in the community service sector for more than 10 years and has a passion for early childhood development.
She understands firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children in rural Tasmania and the importance of having a local support network like those built at playgroup.
In her role, Amy enjoys building communities and creating environments where children and caregivers feel seen and supported and where everyone experiences the joy of learning through play.
“I love leading our playgroup because I get to meet new families, build friendships with them, and help others do the same."
