Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa/pakana people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.
Bec is passionate about empowering families, engaging stakeholders, and establishing partnership opportunities through her work with Playgroup Tasmania.
Bec works closely with key stakeholders to design, implement and monitor early support and evidence-based playgroup programs across the state having gained extensive experience working directly with children and families in Tasmanian communities.
She especially enjoys seeing the growth and development of the playgroups, families and children she works with and is motivated to inspire Tasmanians to learn about the importance of playgroup programs
"Attending Playgroup provides a much-needed social connection for me as a stay-at-home parent and for my daughter as an only child, benefiting both my mental health and her social development."
