Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa/pakana people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.

Play and Learn Supported (PALS) playgroups

Playgroup Tasmania runs PALS playgroups in partnership with

PALS playgroups aim to

  • build relationships and break down social barriers
  • support families living with disability to increase community participation and access inclusive programs, and
  • connect and build community.

PALS is a national program that aims to create connections between people with disability and the communities they live in by bringing together mixed ability groups. It is funded through the NDIS Information Linkages and Capacity Building Program (ILC).
