Thriving Kids
Playgroup Tasmania is developing a new supported playgroup program as part of Thriving Kids.
Thriving Kids is a new approach to supporting children aged up to eight years who may need some extra support with their development, and their families.
It is designed to make it easier for families to access information, advice and support earlier, in the places where children live, learn and play.
Thriving Kids playgroups
Playgroup Tasmania’s Thriving Kids playgroups will provide welcoming, play-based support for children and practical support for parents and caregivers.
Through play and everyday activities, families will have opportunities to support their child’s development, build their knowledge and confidence, connect with other families and access information and other supports when they need them.
Children will not need a diagnosis to attend a Thriving Kids playgroup.
