Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.

Celebrate the power of playgroups with us!

National Playgroup Week is all about celebrating the benefits of playgroups for children, families and communities.

During the Week, playgroups and Baby Villages all around our state will hold special sessions so families can drop in and experience the power of playgroups firsthand.

Playgroups have been supporting Tasmanian families to connect with each other through play for more than 50 years.

What I love most about playgroup is the community and making friendships with other mothers.
