Playgroup Tasmania acknowledges that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, land of the palawa people of lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, to elders past and present and to all those who continue caring for country, sharing stories and upholding rights.

Eco-Friendly Fun for Children's Week

Baptcare

Baptcare invites families to participate in an environmental project to support children’s understanding of creating a green, clean, and safe environment for the future.

Baptcare will provide an activity for each child to create a ‘recycled seed pod’ that they can then plant at home. We encourage conversations around how we can support ‘greening our little part of Tasmania’ – thus creating a clean and safe environment into the future.Baptcare will provide a bag to take home that includes a packet of seeds, a children’s garden implement, and information sheets on environmentally fun family activities to do at home.
